DB Create Scripts

Are there any db create scripts available?  I have limited access to my hosting db environment and don't know a way I can create the database from the .mdf file.  Am I missing something?  Also, is this the same DB schema as used by the MVC Community project?

This project is 100% different from the MVC project (well...mostly).  There may be similarities here and there but I wouldn't count on it directly.  Each communities purpose is different.  This community project follows along with my book using the MVP pattern for the presentation tier.  The MVC project uses the MVC pattern for the presentation tier.  The only real overlapping places is in some of the business layer with regards to the services layer.  Any generic concepts in the back end that map to the service layer would of course be similar too!

I will see if I can generate a create script for you for this database.

Along with that we will also need some data generation scripts too!

A tool you might use (if you can't wait for the scripts) is from Hugati (http://www.huagati.com/dbmltools/).  This is a plugin for Visual Studio that will generate the create scripts from the LINQ to SQL designer.  Very nice tool...and a must have.  You can also look at this: http://blog.socialnetworkingin.net/archive/2009/04/22/huagati-dbmledmx-tools.aspx

Thanks for replying.

I'll check out these resources.  Would you say that this project is further developed that the MVC one?  If so, I may try to develop an MVC tier for this project.

Here is the tables, procs, and functions!  http://community.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/22792#368900

This site is pretty much completely built.  The only thing that is really missing are tests around the code and the admin portal (for what ever you need).  The site is fully operational though.  This code was written for the book that I wrote called ASP.NET 3.5 Social Networking.  So if there is something you don't understand take a look at forum.socialnetworkingin.net and/or the book!

Thanks.  I ran the script and got a few errors.  But the DB did get created and does seem to be in tact.  Sorry didn't capture errors.

Shouldn't this script be a part of the Fisharoo.build file?
